We are very excited to offer Kentucky Coffee Trees! They have very large leaves divided into many leaflets. Large brown pods are produced after flowering and are ripe in the autumn. Seeds can be harvested, roasted, and used as a delicious coffee like beverage. The green gooey substance in the seed pods is toxic and should not be consumed! Apparently makes good fence posts and is desirable for wood-working.
