One of the plants Terran is most excited to have on offer. Siberian Pea Shrub is a quintessential temperate climate permaculture staple, up there with Comfrey. A fast growing shrub, it is tolerant of a wide range of soils, and is drought tolerant. It produces bountiful yellow pea-like flowers, followed by pods (edible when young and tender) and seeds (also edible, and protein and fat rich). It has great potential as a soil stabilizer, hedgerow plant, and staple crop for the loving gardener. Also good forage for chickens. Like many members of the Fabaceae family, it is able to fix nitrogen in the soil.
